The Eagles have added concerts to their “History of the Eagles” tour in 2014, kicking off with a six-night celebration in January, re-opening the historic Forum in Inglewood, California. The Eagles – Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit - will perform classics spanning their career, including some that have never been performed live, as well as songs featured in History of the Eagles, the band’s acclaimed, top-selling documentary.
Tickets go on sale to the general public for the newly added dates beginning Saturday, November 9 at 10 AM local time through Ticketmaster. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Monday, November 4 at 10AM through Friday, November 8 at 10PM. Tickets for the Inglewood concerts are on sale now; tickets for the Sacramento and San Jose concerts go on sale this Saturday, November 2, through Ticketmaster.
New shows include two nights in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand on Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16; a third Dallas concert at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday, February 19; Houston, Texas as the Toyota Center on Friday, February 21; New Orleans, Louisiana at the New Orleans Arena on Sunday, February 23; Atlanta, Georgia at Phillips Arena on Monday, February 24; Raleigh, North Carolina at the PNC Arena on February 28; Washington, D.C. at the Verizon Center on March 1; Cincinnati, Ohio at the US Bank Arena on Monday, March 3; and Columbus, Ohio at the Nationwide Arena on Wednesday, March 5.
The Eagles were the first-ever event at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on July 28, 2001. Their upcoming third concert in Dallas will be a record-setting tenth performance at the American Airlines Center. No other artist has performed that many times in the arena. The Eagles has set a venue record venue with over 125,000 tickets sold and have produced the highest concert grosses of all time for the American Airlines Center. They are the only artist to perform three shows of the same tour on two separate occasions (2008 and 2013/14), proving that North Texas has one of the largest Eagles fan bases in the country.
